New York Times Co. Executive To Lead Buckman’s Board

MEMPHIS, Tenn., USA – Bulab Holdings, Inc., has announced that the Board of Directors elected Jacqueline M. Welch to serve as Chairperson for the new Board term.

Ms. Welch, a Board member since 2020, joined The New York Times Company as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2021.  In this role she leads the Times’s human resources department and oversees all aspects of talent acquisition, career development, organizational development, equitable compensation practices, performance enablement and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She sits on the company’s executive committee and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Michael Keeney of Memphis, TN joined the Buckman Board in September of 2022. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Memphis and Shelby County Airport Authority, has been a Director for Orgill, Inc. since 2005 and also serves on the Board of The Bank of Tennessee. Michael has practiced law for over 30 years and stepped away from practicing full time as a partner of Lewis Thomason Law firm.

Tony Tripeny of Charleston, SC, recently retired as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Corning Incorporated (NYSE:  GLW), has also joined the Buckman Board. Throughout his 36 years with Corning, Mr. Tripeny held various progressive leadership roles in the areas of corporate accounting and finance, including Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer and was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in 2015.
